First things first, there is a new tumblr account that is absolutely hilarious (well, not as good as Stupidshitwhitepeoplesay.tumblr.com, but a close second), called AwkwardBollywood.tumblr.com. This is a site dedicated to all the moments in Bollywood movies that would be awkward if they happened in real life, here are some examples:
Next up, I am a scathing critic when it comes to dissecting humor related to Desi people. People sometimes try WAY too hard to be funny, but come off being corny and obnoxious. I recently came across a few absolutely hilarious videos depicting Desi family life. They all have Closed Captioning so if you aren't Punajbi, you can still follow along. However, in my opinion, 90% of the humor comes from the Punjabi language. Its one of those cultures that expresses humor in the way things are said and how they are delivered. If you are a Punjabi speaker, you will appreciate the following that much more. Mad props to these guys:
